Wendy joined the Colonial Vet team in June 2021. After a 20 year hiatus from the world of veterinary clinics to raise her 4 children with her husband, she said that stepping behind the reception desk felt like “coming home.” Wendy lives on a little hobby farm just outside Navan where she keeps 2 English Angora Rabbits named Shenanigan and Kerfuffle and 7 Cashmere Goats for their wool. Her rescue cat, Pixie and Aussie-Poo Caper are her constant companions while she’s relaxing at home doing hand spinning, knitting and weaving. Wendy’s 16 laying hens and 2 roosters provide an entertaining backdrop of clucking and crowing while she works in her expanding vegetable and flower gardens.
